Mission Statement

Established in 1951, The Evergreen Park Athletic Association is a non-profit organization run by an all-volunteer board, whose mission is “to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways, the interest of EVERGREEN PARK boys and girls ages 5 through 16 that participate in the E.P.A.A.

The E.P.A.A. is a chartered member of Little League which means we agree to adhere and follow the rules and regulations of Little League Baseball International.

Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, the E.P.A.A. program assists youth in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being. By espousing the virtues of character, courage and loyalty, the E.P.A.A. program is designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes.

Recognizing that there are varied levels of ability, we celebrate those differences by ensuring that every participant plays and enjoys the competition in the various leagues throughout the season, with those aspiring to reach a higher level participating in all-stars and extra curricular programs offered by the league.

When parents/guardians register their child they agree to follow the ‘Parent Code of Conduct’ agreement on their child’s registration form.  Whether or not each parent signs the registration form, all parents, family members, and fans are subject to follow guidelines set forth in the ‘Parent Code of Conduct’.  To view the  ‘Parent Code please click on the Sport Parent Code of Conduct link.

All volunteers are required to fill out a “Little League volunteer application/background check form”, “Volunteer code of conduct form” and are also subject to any guidelines put forth by the E.P.A.A.’s Board.  Failure to fill out either form will result in immediate dismissal from the league!

The Evergreen Park Athletic Association has implemented a safety plan for the 2010 season and beyond. To view the E.P.A.A. safety please click on the safety plan link.

The Evergreen Park Athletic Association and Little League Baseball, Incorporated, will not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, marital status, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
