Major Division (ages 11-12)

Major League (ages 11-12)
The Major Division is for boys and girls ages 11-12. The diamond used is a 60-foot
diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet.
Strong fundamental skills and team strategies are stressed in this more competitive
level. A strong commitment to the program is expected. Players will use and enhance

other teams. Scores and standing are kept for a year-end tournament for all teams.
Also, it gives children of this age the opportunity to experience tournament

culmination of the International Tournament is the Little League Baseball World
Series, featuring teams from around the globe. There is also an 10- & 11-year-old
District Tournament team that competes up to state level.
